"New Growth" ($30.00)

(adjusted price.....$30.00)

If you have ever gone through a dry spell creatively, this quote will mean more to you. Even the black behind the green is a visual metaphor of a dry spell. We can also see this in the trees that looked so barren all winter and now have new growth. It's refreshing and good...a process to embrace visually and experientially.

Gesso is probably still on the minds of those who attended the Yves Leterme Workshop. It's extremely malleable. If you have some shaper tools (those things that have different rubber tips on the end), you can carve into gesso after you apply it to the surface and before it dries. It will give you some dimension (as in the leaves). The possibilities are endless and something you might want to try.
