Some of the best places to be alone and connect with God are in the midst of His creation. This piece was inspired by a photo taken at Coronado Bay near San Diego.
One of my favorite things to do is "imbed" the lettering in the artwork. That was done here by writing with the corner of a credit card into white gesso before the drawing and painting took place. It's fun and worthy of experimentation.
